Home water heater leaked Friday midnight and I was able to get an appointment for Saturday afternoon. Sean Lee arrived around 3pm, greeted us pleasantly, evaluated the condition, and gave an estimate of cost and time. Once I gave approval, he got started immediately and completed the work in less than the estimated time. We have hot water for Saturday night. Thank you Sean! Great job!

March 2025 Follow Up Confirmed 5 stars (would give more if possible). Wes came back as we had a possible water heater issue. He diagnosed our house's water pressure was too high (120 psi) and noted the regulator connecting into the home was inoperable and causing isssues throughout our house's plumbing. Amazing, plumber is coming to fix our issue tomorrow! Thank you Wes, our go to Water Heater resource.
Nothing but good things to say the phone call to the company to make the appointment was great. Paul was very helpful and courteous. The technician that came out was Luis and he was fantastic. He was on time polite great customer service did a great job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and use them again.
From call on my leaking heater to install was less than 24 hrs. The install by Lucas took under 3 hrs and he spent the time showing me how to use the controls. Cleaned up afterwards, very happy
From the quote to the end of the job, Loni was wonderful! When my water heater died the week of Thanksgiving, I thought I would be spending a week without hot showers, but Loni came through! During the quote, he was polite, explained things well, laid out my potential options, and came up with the best solution out of all the 6 quotes I received. Our Water Heaters Only technician, Loni, was fantastic. Our 27 yr old water heater was producing very little hot water and Loni provided everything you would hope for in this situation. He arrived on time, communicated clearly what the problem was and his recommended solution, and then did top notch work installing the new water heater. On top of that, we had the new water heater installed within 2 days of first calling Waters Heaters Only.

Great company, I got a quote from a different company for $1000 more. I called Water Heaters Only and they came by the same day. Lucas let me know everything that was wrong and exactly what I needed. Despite previously being a loyal customer of the other company I could not believe the difference.. Lucas showed me the breakdown and I was able to see the model number and BTU was the same as the other company that was over charging me. thank you guys so much!

I made an appointment according to our schedule (old unit stopped providing hot water). Alex from Water Heaters Only showed up at exactly the correct time. After discussing various options I opted to purchase a new water heater. To my surprise Alex was able to install the new water heater while he was here. The job was completed in just under 2 hours. Water Heaters Only service their products 24/7 . . . not all companies service their products or fulfill the warranties . . . Water Heaters Only does!
As a first time home owner, I think nothing could be scarrier than having a excessively steaming water heater tank. As soon as Lucas arrived I was able to be relieved. The way he explained the situation and handled it seemed so professional and friendly at the same time. On top of that, his offering price was reasonable enough so I asked him if he can dive into this case right away. I had an issue with a pressure regulator as well so had to call some one next day. And this technician from other company complimented a lot on his work regarding water heater installation. Won't hesitate a second to recommend Lucas to my neighbors and friends 🙂
I found our water heater tank was leaking in the morning of 9/17/24. I called the company around 10am. A lady told me that a technician would be coming around 11am to 2pm. I received a confirmation text message around 10:30 am that they would send John A. to our house. I received a call from John around 11:00am and he showed up around 11:15 am. After a quick inspection, John clearly explained the options that we could consider. And he provided a quote on the spot. I agreed with the quote. John patiently explained to me about the scope of work. And he did a great job to replace with a new tank. Very speedy, responsive,and professional! Highly recommend!
Sean Lee was the best technician for us. We called morning of and they were able to come same day to assist. Sean was very patient and walked through the many options we had to do for a fix vs replacement vs larger project. His recommendations were both for immediate and long-term ideas for our home.

We had a very old water heater that was failing us. I messaged through Yelp and they were very fast in their response! They don't have a lot of reviews on Yelp but it now makes sense because they use a google review service to leave feedback, so don't feel alarmed like I did initially! I made contact with them on a Saturday and a tech came out the next day which was pretty awesome. Our tech Luis was so nice and friendly. He did a great job. He replaced our water heater before even manning the BBQ at his home later after his work day way done! I would use y'all again 100,%, but not until this nice shiny new one fails us a long time down the road! Thank you for great service.
Lucas was so helpful and professional when installing my parents water heater it made me choose to use Water Heaters Only for my own replacement water heater and surprisingly he was my installer as well and was on time and got it installed very well.
My 12 year old Bradford-White water heater failed. and I called around 7:30am to make an appointment to replace my old water heater. David, the dispatcher, explained the replacement options and explained that I would not see any substantial benefit by installing a tankless water heater in my home, saving me thousands of dollars. He scheduled an appointment for the same day, and Lucas, the tech, arrived three hours later. Lucas installed the new water heater in 2-1/2 hours with no muss or fuss. He was very friendly and efficient. The price was competetive. I will use Water Heaters Only again if I need maintenance or repair on my water heater.
When our 19 year old water heater quit working, I went searching for a new one. I came across Water Heaters Only, Inc. I was impressed with their website, so I contacted them via email. Phil answered my email inquiry very quickly and answered all my questions. When I indicated I wanted to proceed with the water heater replacement, Phil contacted one of his technicians, Lucas. He came in about a half an hour. Lucas explained what he was going to do in the process of replacement. He was friendly and courteous. He professionally took out the old water heater and installed the new one in less than two hours. I was completely satisfied with their service!

Wow! This is a very good, professional company that went above and beyond. Our 14 year old water heater broke, so I called and spoke with Alex and later Cyrus. Both were friendly and provided me a reasonable estimate for replacement and sent technician John out for next day service. He did an impressively clean install job, replacing hardware such as the gas line, strapping, adding grounding wire, and more in a short amount of time I had hot water again. Luis is a honest and a wonderful technician! He replaced the igniter and the gas controller of our 8 years old Rheem water heater while carrying a pleasant conversation. We will definitely hire Luis back again once our water heater needs to be replaced in the future.

This company is amazing. A person answers the phone, and gives expert advice. I was able to schedule a same day appointment. The service person, Wesley , called to say he would be earlier than expected . He carefully assessed our situation and gave us options as our water heater was still functioning. We decided to replace the heater and pump as both were 16 years old , well beyond the 10-12 year life expectancy. The installation took 5 instead of 4 hours as a couple of glitches occurred, but Wesley kept us posted. He was courteous and professional throughout the entire process.
I highly recommend Water Heater Only Hayward. I contacted 4 different businesses, and it was the most transparent in terms of what I was getting and pricing.
My previous water heater was discontinued in production, so I had to replace it with a new model. Alex B visited my place, answered questions, and gave me a quote. The model, pricing and labor cost etc was officially documented, ensuring no hidden costs and fewer moving parts. In contrast, other businesses only gave me a rough quote and were not clear about what replacement model would be installed. Once I decided to go with Alex's proposal, he visited my place again and described what would be done. He delivered as promised. Alex was punctual and very professional. Note: They also accept credit cards for payment.
I called about 9 am and was quoted a price range and told they could have someone here between 2 and 6 that afternoon. About noon technician Lucas called and said he was on the way. Lucas explained what needed to be done and gave me a final price which was within the quoted range. He was very polite, knowledgeable and efficient, as was everyone I spoke to at this company. Lucas finished the installation in about 2 hours. A very satisfactory experience.
My neighbors recommended Water Heaters Only for me after I told them my heater had started slowly leaking. They dispatched Wesley immediately to inspect my situation, he was super nice and super professional. He also gave a very fair quote and clearly explained the warranty and price costs. A few days later I called again and they immediately dispatched Wesley again to perform the actual waterheater replacement. I really appreciated that since Wesley had already a good idea of the work needed to be done. Wesley has a joy to have around, he worked quickly and explained to me everything he was doing, and explained to me how to operate the waterheater as well as best practices for the future. Review only from calling: After calling ~19 different services in the area Water Heaters Only was one of the 2 companies that provided a rough ballpark price over the phone (extremely helpful!) and offered to come out the next day. They are partnered with a water heater brand which seems to make getting one in an emergency easier. Price is acceptable.
WHO, that’s right, Water Heaters Only, that’s who! Called them at 0600hrs to replace a specialty water heater, Mo Tau was at my home 0915hrs and did all of the installation by noon. If you want it done now, and you want it done right, who ya gonna call…Water Heaters Only that’s WHO!!

We called Water Heaters Only because of the outstanding reviews we found everywhere and in a matter of a few minutes we had an appointment for the following day (the person who answer the phone (Andy? can't remember) was very professional). The following day Doniel came very punctually, and after a few minutes of conversation we agreed on replacing the tank. He was very knowledgeable, clear on what and why needed to be done, and replaced our tank in less than 2 hours. We had a baby sleeping in the house through the whole process so I guess he was also as quiet as one can be with this type of heavy work. I am very pleased with the job done by Doniel and the overall service of Water Heaters Only. Will definitely recommend !

Lucas provided the removal and installation for both on two different dates. The first water heater was urgent since the old water heater pilot assembly failed. The second water heater we chose to call back Water Heaters only due to satisfaction of the first installation (also the old units were 10 years old).

Our water heater just quit working after 14+ years of service - - right before we were to have a house full of guests. I called on Monday evening at about 5:30 and was able to get an appointment for service on Tuesday 9 to 12. I work from home, so this window worked fine. John A. arrived during that window and was professional and polite. He asked what we wanted done and then gave us a quote. John explained what work was included in the quote and how long the work would take. We found the quote to reasonable. Two hours later we had a new water heater and were very pleased with the work that had been done. The work area was clean and tidy and we are very pleased. My leaky water heater decided it was time to go on Thanksgiving Day this year and it was quite the inconvenience. I did some research and then called Water Heaters Only on Friday after reading good reviews. They quoted me replacement costs for both a tank and tank less installation and i decided to just replace my tank. I figured it was not an emergency since i still had water. so i said anytime before Tuesday would be fine. They were able to get someone out the next morning. Toa was the technician and he was great. Professional, informative and very pleasant. They didn't try to sell me anything i didn't need. Compared to a big box store i had come out and quote me when it first started leaking, these guys were almost half the price. Great Job and Thank you
Excellent customer service - Competitive price - Quality work! Obviously when you need a new water heater you need it NOW but it is not a regular purchase so who to call & what price to expect can be very stressful. 1st call confirmed that it was probably going to be another bad "contractor" experience of being taken advantage of with the "take it or leave it" attitude. 2nd call to Water Heaters Only and immediately felt like a "customer". Steve replaced our 17 year old water heater on May 28, 2015. We were able to get a same day appointment because of a cancellation. Steve called to say when he would arrive, and he was prompt. He answered my questions, worked efficiently, and filled up some buckets with water that had to be drained from the old tank. Water Heaters Only installed our water heater in1998, and it lasted a long time so we knew they had a quality product. When we called them last week, everyone was friendly, easy to work with, and very knowledgeable about the product. I highly recommend this company for offering very good service at a competitive price.
I have been shopping around to find a company that will replace my water heater at a reasonable price, I found Water Heaters Only, Inc. provided the most reasonable price. My water heater installer Loni came at the time promised to provide an estimate. He was very patient and provided the pros and cons of installing tankless vs. tank water heater. When I decided to go with the tank water heater, he provided prices for three different models with different capacities and different energy efficient factors. Loni then left and leaving me to think about it and make my own decision. No pressure at all. I felt very comfortable and 3 days later I called to make the appointment to have my new water heater installed. On the day of installation 3/13/15, Loni took less than 2 hours to finish the job and performed all the modifications exactly as he predicted. No extra charges and he finished the job professionally and everything worked exactly the way I imagined. Great job Water Heaters Only Inc. “Loni came out to my 94 year old Mom’s to replace her water heater on “Labor Day” holiday. Loni is a true professional, he looked over the job, No hard sell, no BS, just straight and honest. Went over the cost and explained what he was going to be doing. Started the job by himself and was done in about an hour and 45 minutes! The job compared to what he replaced was clean solid and well plumbed. I called numerous plumbers through an app and received phone calls immediately but due to the holiday no one could come out until Tues. “Water heater woes only happen in the off-hours. We found our old water heater leaking at 8 PM at night. WHO answered the phone in the evening, were friendly and helpful and scheduled Doniel for the next morning. He arrived on time and looked at our exterior water heater closet. We decided to upgrade the size, and Doniel explained the changes needed to bring the new install into Code compliance, and then he went to work. Most people don’t know that there are many disciplines involved in a “simple” water heater replacement: plumbing, carpentry for seismic tiedown, HVAC for flue exhaust, but also the extras: he cleaned out the closet from years of neglect and left the installation looking wonderful! This was at least 5 star work, could be 6 stars!”

“Water heater gave out after 13 years and we called for help late in the day. Peni & Loni came out the next morning did an excellent job of removal of our old tank water heater and installing a tankless water heater (including upgrading our gasline in our 50+ years house). Took about 1/2 a day to install, including having to drill in a couple places to the outside to install various parts. They answered all of our questions about how a tankless heater works. They were very pleasant and professional to work with. Highly recommend!”

“Technician Beni showed up on time and job was done in under 4 hours. Job included removing old water heater, building a new platform for a larger one, and installing the new one. Beni was easy to work with, explained different options clearly and did a beautiful job. Due to no fault of technician, the cost was about twice the price I expected however.”
